The Promise
We spent Friday 16th October celebrating the launch of the new film of the amazing picture book "The Promise" by Nicola Davies.
We watched the film, and then spent the day doing a range of activities linked to the themes of the film: we created poems; wrote autobiographies as if we were the girl in the film; explored the lifecycle of an oak tree; recreated the illustrations in the book using chalk pastels and also planted lots and lots of acorns!
