Parents / Carers are required to telephone the School Office to inform the school of any absence.

Please simply leave a message on the answerphone. Alternatively you can email: parents@lea-primary.hereford.sch.uk (please do not use the admin email)

This should be done before 9.30 am on each day of absence. 

If we have not been informed before 9.30 am, we have to use precious office time, to ring home/contacts to establish the reason for absence. If we cannot get hold of anyone, as per our SAFEGUARDING responsibility, we may well conduct a Home Visit.
