Clerk to the Governors - Lady Jan Falkiner
Having lived and worked and brought up my family in North London for more than 40 years, I re-settled back into Herefordshire full time in 2001. Working for Gorsley Goffs began my Clerking journey over 17 years ago; Lea School was added some years later, when the Soft Federation was formed, which just doubled the pleasure of working for Governors.
In a previous life, I was a College Lecturer in Further Education working in the College's Business Faculty. I worked closely with industrialists in the London Borough of Barnet, and in conjunction with Middlesex University.
Before retirement from that part of life, I trained colleagues, and worked to deliver new Government Initiatives post school education - CPVE, IDVE, BTECs of all sorts, to name but a few.
My interests include music, especially mainstream/modern Jazz, poetry and poets, research work, and voluntary work for Arts, Science, Ross Library Development Group(now Friends of Ross Library), and Newent Museum among others.
